We are almost to the end of a long and rewarding 2018 Cookie Sale. Are you tired? We are.
A heart-felt THANK YOU to everyone who has helped keep girls’ cookie sales running as smoothly as possible. We have all done a pretty darn good job! Folks, we’re almost there.
Girls can still sell cookies to earn credit through this Sunday, March 11. If your troop does not have all needed cookies on hand any more to fulfill these orders, we have added the option for one final planned order in Smart Cookies to be picked up by March 16 at most area cookie cupboards. Waite Park and Duluth Cupboards will also be open Monday - Friday of next week. Place planned orders by 10pm Sunday night. There will be time yet early next week to make sure girls get the cookies and the credit for their sales through March 11. If a girl needs to sell only a few more packages to reach the next recognition level, now is the time to help her get those packages to move up to that goal.
Remember to complete any Troop to Troop Transfers in Smart Cookies. If your troop has transferred packages to another troop, then you need to put the transfer into the system. If you have received packages from another troop, make sure the transfer is in the system.
Remember to transfer packages in Smart Cookies from your troop to the girls. (Directions p.23 of the pink Troop Answer Book). When you think all of your transfers are complete, we advise the following: Go to Reports and pull your Girl Cookie Totals Summary. If the numbers are incorrect, pull your Transfer Order Summary report to see if a transfer was missed or duplicated. Remember, we’re here to help.
If your girl cookie totals are correct, please create your troop’s recognition order. (Directions p.24 of the pink Troop Answer Book). One helpful thing to remember is that Smart Cookies will only allow you to CREATE one recognition order. So even if you did not take any action after creating the order, you will need to go to Manage Recognition Order to put in the girl’s choices. If you get stuck, again, remember we’re here to help. Your troop’s recognition order is due in Smart Cookies Wednesday, March 14. Please do not wait until the last minute to place your order. Smart Cookies opens for recognition orders on Friday, March 9.
We are allowing troops to check out cookies from a local cookie cupboard for booth sales the weekend of March 16 – 18. Any unsold cookies must be returned to the cupboard within 72 hours. This will be available only in the cupboards where cookies are still available, and limited to inventory on hand. If interested, please contact your local cupboard manager.
